2 Dc Cluster: (yo, insert hook in same sp, pull up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps) twice, yo, draw through last 3 lps on hook to complete the st.

Coaster:

Rnd 1) Ch 4; (dc, ch 8) in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs skipped count as first dc); (2 dc, ch 8 in same ch) 5 times; join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 4: 12 dc/6 ch 8 sps.

Rnd 2) Ch 6 (counts as first dc, plus ch 3), dc in next dc, ch 8; * sk next ch 8 sp, dc in next dc, ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 8; rep from * around; join with a sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch 6: 12 dc/6 ch 3-sps/6 ch 8-sps.

Rnd 3) Sl st in next sp; (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same sp, slip ch 8 from rnd 2 through ch 8 from rnd 1, (3 sc) in top of ch 8 sp; * (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch 3 sp, slip ch 8 from rnd 2 through ch 8 from rnd 1, (3 sc) in top of ch 8 sp; rep from * around; join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3: 18 sc/6 ch 2-sps/24 dc.
