Finished Size: Approx. 3" long
Gauge: Not important to overall size
Skill Level: Beginner
Special Stitches:
Sc Dec: (insert hook in next st, pull up a lp) as many times as stated, yo, draw through all lps on hook to complete the dec.
Egg:
Row 1) Ch 4; sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch: 3 sc.
Row 2) Ch 1, turn work; (2 sc) in first st, sc in next sc, (2 sc) in last sc: 5 sc.
Row 3) Ch 1, turn work; (2 sc) in first st, sc in next 3 sc, (2 sc) in last sc: 7 sc.
Rows 4-5) Ch 1, turn work; sc in each sc across.
Row 6) Ch 1, turn work; sk first sc, sc in next 4 sc, sc dec over last 2 sc see special sts: 5 sc.
Row 7) Ch 1, turn work; sc in each sc across: 5 sc.
Row 8) Ch 1, turn work; sk first sc, sc in next 2 sc, sc dec over last 2 sc: 3 sc.
Row 9) Ch 1, turn work; sc dec over last 3 sts: 1 sc. (Do not fasten off).
Edging:
Rnd 1) Ch 1, turn work; sc in first st; evenly sc around egg; join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off, secure ends.
