Finishing:
Cut 3/4" from top of styrofoam cone, (or as much needed for a snug fit when placing angel over the cone). Cover preferred work surface and styrofoam cone with plastic wrap. Dip angel, wings and halo in stiffening solution and gently squeeze out excess being careful not to twist or wring the pieces. Place angel over prepared cone and straighten design. Shape pinafore sleeves and tilt head forward if you prefer a prayerful gesture. Pin in place making sure the hem is an even distance from bottom of cone.
Place wings on prepared flat surface and shape to dry. Shape halo in circle and lay flat to dry.
When halo has almost dried completely you can bend it slightly for a soft rounded shape to fit the back of the angel head better.
When angel and wings have dried thoroughly, remove from molding surfaces. Glue halo to back of angel's head. Glue wings at a desired height on back of angel. Let dry.
Cut 3 or more lengths of ribbon, approx. 1 1/2" in length. Insert the length of Chenille Stem through one arm, through body and out the opposite arm. Glue ribbon roses, baby's breath and ribbon lengths in "hands", (chenille ends folded), and glue in place. Crafter's pearls can also be glued around each of the 3 dc groups around designs, or use photo as a guide or decorate as desired.
Option:
Wings may be angled over an edge of a box if you prefer to have wings flared back, after dipping in stiffening solution.
