Materials:
100% cotton thread, size 10
Steel crochet hook, size 8 usa (1.50 mm)
Miniature candy canes (vacuumed sealed)

Finished Size: 3" tall
Gauge: Not important to over all size

Skill Level: Beginner

Covers:

Row 1) (Working from the top); ch 4; (2 dc, ch 5, 3 dc) in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs skipped counts as first dc): 6 dc/1 ch 5 sp.

Rows 2- 12) Ch 5, turn work; (3 dc, ch 5, 3 dc) in next ch 5 sp: 6 dc/1 ch 5-sp.

Row 13) Ch 2, turn work; (dc, ch 2 in next ch 5 sp) 5 times, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc. Fasten off, secure ends.

Finishing:

Weave miniature candy cane through the center ch 5 sps starting from the top of cover. Trim with bows if desired.

Use as:

  • Fridgies: Attach magnet to back.
  • Ornaments: Make a loop using floral wire or ribbon and attach to candy cane.
  • Pin: Attach a miniature safety pin to back.
  • Stocking Stuffer
