To braid the wreath, you need to start with Rope 1 (longest rope), and pull the rope over the center rope. Continue to braid the ropes until they're worked off, (they should be just about even at the bottom). Be careful not to tangle the yarn that's still attached to the last rope while braiding.
Holding braid together, pick up dropped lp from last rnd (rnd 42) on last rope; ch 1, turn work, sc in first st; * working across the braid, (2 sc in in top of next rope); rep from * once. Fasten off leaving a long tail for joining.
Holding both ends of braid together in a circle for a wreath, being careful not to twist the braid; thread tapestry needle and sew the ends together working across each st. Fasten off; secure ends.

Bow Center Tie: (Using Christmas variegated and size G hook)

Rows 2-9) Ch 1, turn work; sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc: 3 sc. Fasten off; leaving a 6" tail on last rnd.
Finishing:
Accordian pleat the bow. Wrap the bow center tie around the center of the pleated bow, so the ends meet in the back. Thread tapestry needle with the 6" tail and sew the ends together to secure the bow. Weave in ends.
Clip an 12" length of Christmas variegated yarn and thread with a tapestry needle. Holding the bow up to the front center top of wreath (where the ends of wreath are joined), pull one end of the yarn through the bow and wreath to the back of wreath. Drop end and re-thread the opposite end of yarn with tapestry needle and pull through the bow and wreath to the back to secure the bow to the wreath. Tie ends of yarn into a square knot approx. 2" away from wreath for a hanging loop. Cut ends close and pull the hanging loop around so the knot will slip inside the wreath.
