Stocking Back: (Using variegated)

Row 1) Starting at toe: ch 18; dc in 5th ch from hook (first 4 chs skipped count as first dc, plus foundation ch); dc in next 13 ch: 15 dc.

Row 2) Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn work; * dc in next dc; rep from * across: 15 dc.

Row 3) Ch 3, turn work; (dc in next dc) 8 times: 9 dc.

Rows 4-9) Ch 3, turn work; * dc in next dc; rep from * across: 9 dc. Fasten off; secure ends on last rnd: 9 dc.

Stocking Front: (Using variegated)

Rows 1-9) Rep instructions for rows 1-9 for back.

Bottom: (Using variegated)

Row 1) Matching front and back and working through both sides to join sole; join yarn to opposite side of foundation ch on row 1, to first st on toe with a sl st; ch 2, dc in next st, trc in next 2 sts, dc in next st, hdc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, dc in next st, trc in last 3 sts. Fasten off; secure ends.

Joining and Edging: (Using variegated)

Row 1) Join yarn to dc post on end of row 9 with a sl st, working through both front and back; ch 1, (2 sc) over same dc post, continue working down the side of stocking, working (2 sc) over each dc post, (3 sc) over each trc post, and a sc in each st around to opposite side of stocking, stopping at row 9; ch 10, sl st in last st for a hanging lp. Fasten off; secure ends.

Cuff: (Using white)

Rnd 1) Working from inside of stocking; join white to any st at top of stocking with a sl st; ch 3; * dc in next st; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc: 18 dc.

Rnd 2) Eyelet Rnd: ch 4 (counts as first dc, plus ch 1), sk next dc; * dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc: 9 dc/9 ch-1 sps.

Rnd 3) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next sp; * sc in next dc, sc in next sp; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 18 sc.

Rnd 4) Ch 1, sc in joining, (ch 3, dc) in same st, sk next sc; * (sc, ch 3, dc) in next sc, sk next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first st. Fasten off; secure ends.

Finishing:

Pull cuff down to the outside of stocking and pull the hanging loop through the weave. Weave ribbon through eyelet round starting and ending at center front of stocking. Tie ribbon into a bow and clip ends.
