Cover:
Ch 24; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1) Ch 1, sc in joining, ch 5; * sk next ch, sc in next ch, ch 5; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 ch 5-sps.
Rnds 2-3) Sl st in next sp; ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 5; * sc in next sp, ch 5; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 ch 5-sps.
Rnd 4) Sl st in next sp; (ch 1, sc, ch 3, sc) in same sp (counts as a picot); * ch 5, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next sp; rep from * around ending with a ch 1, trc in first sc forming last ch 5 sp on rnd: 12 ch 5-sps/12 picots.
Rnds 5-10) (Ch 1, sc, ch 3, sc) in same sp; * ch 5, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch 5 sp; rep from * around ending with a ch 1, trc in first sc forming last ch 5 sp on rnd: 12 ch 5-sps/12 picots. Fasten off; secure ends after last rnd.
Finishing:
Place cover over a Christmas ball and glue in place as needed. Glue small satin roses to the bottom row spacing them apart. Cut ribbon in half and tie each half into a bow. Trim ends and glue to each side of the cover at the top using the photo as a guide.
