Sm amt 4-ply WW yarn (fall colors)
Crochet hook size I

Finished Size: 5 3/4" L x 5" W
Gauge: Not important to over all size

Instructions:

Rnd 1) Ch 12; sc in next 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 8 ch, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in last ch (buttonhole made), working back up opposite side in free lps of foundation ch, dc in next 8 ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch, ch 4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook; join with a sl st in first sc.

Row 2) Sl st in next 3 sts, (ch 4, dc, hdc) in same st, sc in next 8 sts, (3 sc) in next ch 1 sp, sc in next 7 sts, (hdc, dc, trc) in next st.

Row 3) Ch 1, turn work; sc in first st, sl st in next 3 sts, (ch 4, dc, hdc) in same st, sc in next 7 sts, (3 sc) in next st, sc in next 6 sts, (hdc, dc, trc) in next st.

Row 4) Ch 1, turn work; sc in first st, sl st in next 5 sts, (ch 4, dc, hdc) in same st, sc in next 4 sts, (sc, hdc, sc) in next st, sc in next 6 sts, (hdc, dc, trc) in next st. Fasten off; secure ends.

Finishing:

Spray leaves with water and shape if needed. Work up in a variety of fall colors!
