
Seasonal Quick & Easy Necklace

Materials:
Sm amts 100% cotton thread, size 10 (3-4 different colors as desired).
Steel crochet hook, size 5
Necklace clasp
Gauge: Not important to overall size
Skill Level: Easy
Basic Instructions:
Working with one of the desired colors, join thread to one end of necklace clasp with a sc leaving a long tail for weaving end later; * ch 3, dc in 3rd ch from hook; rep from * for desired length of necklace; join with a sl st to other end of necklace clasp. Fasten off leaving a long tail for weaving end later.
Join next color to necklace clasp with a sc leaving a long tail; * ch 3, dc in 3rd ch from hook; rep from * for same length as first strand; pull up a lp and drop st. Cut thread leaving an extra long tail for finishing off and weaving in later.
Continue to work strands as instructed.
Colors:
The necklace strands can be worked in one color, each strand a different color, or working 6-8 strands with 2 strands worked in the same color. Use your imagination and change the colors for holidays and/or seasons. Earth tones for autumn; reds, greens and golds for Christmas; reds and pinks for Valentines; shades of green for St. Patrick's and so on.
