Cd label or a piece of paper cut to approx. 4 1/2" in dia.

Gauge: 2 rows dc = 1 1/4"
Preparing the CD:
If you have a CD label creator, you can easily create your own label.
"My Little Round Tuit," placed in the top position.
"For when I get around to it," is placed in the lower position.
Use the font and font size desired to create a whole new look. If you don't have a cd lable creator, you can write the inscription above on the label by hand. If you don't have labels, cut a circle from any type paper you prefer that measures approx. 4 1/2" in dia. Be creative and create a fancy label of your own choosing! Once the label is ready, peel off the backing and place on the cd, centering your work. If you use paper, glue the "label" in place.
Back: (Note: a contrasting color can be used for the back if desired.)
Rnd 1) Ch 4; 14 dc in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs skipped count as first dc); join with a sl st to first dc (4th ch of beg ch 4): 15 dc.
Rnd 2) Ch 3 (counts as first dc, now and throughout); dc in joining; * 2 dc in next dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc: 30 dc.
Rnd 3) Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc; * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc: 45 dc.
Rnd 4) (Ch 2, 2 Esc, ch 2, 2 Esc) in joining, sk next 2 dc; * (2 Esc, ch 2, 2 Esc) in next dc, sk next 2 dc; rep from * around; join with sl st to top of first Esc: 15 shells. Fasten off; secure ends. Esc or Extended Single Crochet: insert hook in st, pull up a lp, (yo, draw through 1 lp on hook) twice to complete the st.
Front:
Rnd 1) Ch 45; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring, being careful not to twist the ch. Ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next ch; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 45 sc.
Rnd 2) (Ch 2, 2 Esc, ch 2, 2 Esc) in joining, sk next 2 sc; * (2 Esc, ch 2, 2 Esc) in next sc, sk next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to top of first Esc: 15 shells. Do not end off.
Joining & Edging:
Rnd 1) Sl st in next ch 2 sp; (ch 2, 5 Esc) in same sp; * (5 Esc) in next ch 2 sp; rep from * around, slipping the disk between front and back when half finished, ensuring the disk is right side up (the right side should be facing through the frame); continue with edging; join with a sl st to top of first Esc: 15 fans. Fasten off; secure ends.
Finishing:
If desired a fabric rose can be sewn to the top front of CD.
