Instructions:

Rnd 1) Ch 5; (dc, ch 1) 11 times in 5th ch from hook (first 4 chs skipped count as first dc, plus ch 1); join with a sl st to first dc (4th ch of beg ch 5): 12 dc/12 ch-1 sps.

Rnd 2) (Ch 3, dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in joining, sk next dc; * (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next dc, sk next dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc (3rd ch of beg ch 3): 24 dc/6 ch-3 sps.

Rnd 3) Ch 6 (counts as first dc, plus ch 3), dc in joining, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch 3 sp, ch 1, sk next 2 dc; * (dc, ch 3, dc) in next dc, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in next ch 3 sp, ch 1, sk next 2 dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to first dc (3rd ch of beg ch 6): 12 dc/12 ch 3-sps.

Rnd 4) Sl st in next sp; (ch 8, sc) 4 times in same sp, (ch 4, trc) in same sp (counts as ch 8 sp), sk next ch 3 sp; * (trc, ch 4, sc) in next ch 3 sp (counts as ch 8 sp), (ch 8, sc) 3 times in same sp, (ch 4, trc) in same sp, sk next ch 3 sp; rep from * around; join with a sl st to 4th ch of beg ch 8: 30 ch-8 sps. Fasten off; secure ends.
