2 Skeins 4 ply worsted weight yarn (Black)
Sm amt 4 ply worsted weight yarn (Orange)
Crochet hook size I

Finishing Materials:
Tapestry needle for ends

Finished Size: 4" T x 7 1/4" dia.
Gauge: Not important to over all size

Skill Level: Medium

Special Stitches:
Sc Dec (insert hook in st indicated, draw up a lp) as many times as stated, yo, draw through all lps on hook to complete the st.

Pot: (Using black)

Note: (Use two strands of yarn held together throughout, unless otherwise noted).

With 2 strands held together from each skein; ch 3; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1) Ch 1, (12 sc) in ring; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 sc. (Will be tight to get all 12 sc in ring).

Rnd 2) Ch 1, sc in joining, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 18 sc.

Rnd 3) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 2 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 24 sc.

Rnd 4) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 2 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 3 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 30 sc.

Rnd 5) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 3 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 4 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 36 sc.

Rnd 6) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 4 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 42 sc.

Rnd 7) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 5 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 6 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 48 sc.

Rnd 8) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 6 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 7 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 54 sc.

Rnd 9) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 7 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; * sc in next 8 sc, (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 60 sc.

Rnds 10-15) Ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 60 sc.

Rnd 16) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 7 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc see special sts; * sc in next 8 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 54 sc.

Rnd 17) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 6 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc; * sc in next 7 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 48 sc.

Rnd 18) Ch 1, sc in joining, sc in next 5 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc; * sc in next 6 sc, sc dec over next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 42 sc.

Rnd 19) Ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 42 sc.

Rnd 20) Ch 1, (2 sc) in joining; * (2 sc) in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 84 sc.

Rnd 21) * Sl st in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first st: 84 sl sts. Fasten off; secure ends.

Hangers: (Using black)

Working from the inside of the pot, join a double strand of yarn to any st on rnd 19 with a sl st; ch 31; sl st in 11th ch from hook. Fasten off; secure ends.

Rem 2 Hangers: (Using black)

Sk next 13 sts on rnd 19 and join a double strand of yarn to next st with a sl st; ch 31; sl st in 11th ch from hook. Fasten off; secure ends.

Finishing:

Decorate with plastic spiders and other Halloween goodies as desired. Hang from a hook or other device and fill with candies.
