Worsted weight yarn (White, Red, Green)
Crochet hook, size F

Finishing Materials:
Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
Small bit of (1/4") wide ribbon (in red or green)
Glue gun/glue

Finished Size: 2 3/4" T x 2 3/4" W (when pressed flat)
Gauge: Not important to over all size.

Skill Level: Medium

Napkin Ring: (Using White)

Rnd 1) Ch 24; join with a sl st in first ch to form a ring; ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next ch; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 24 sc.

Rnd 2) Ch 1, (3 sc) in joining, sk next 2 sc; * (3 sc) in next sc, sk next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 8 groups.

Rnds 3-5) Sl st in next sc (center sc); ch 1, (3 sc) in joining, sk next 2 sc; * (3 sc) in next sc (center sc), sk next 2 sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 8 groups.

Rnd 6) Ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next sc; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 24 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Rnd 7) Join White to opposite edge of napkin ring to any free lp in foundation ch with a sl st; ch 1, sc in joining; * sc in next ch; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 24 sc. Fasten off; weave in ends.

Edging: (Using Red & Green)

Rnd 1) Join red to any sc on rnd 7 with a sl st; ch 1, sc in joining, ch 1, sk next st; * sc in next st, ch 1, sk next st; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Rnd 2) Join green, to any ch 1 sp on last rnd with a sl st; ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 1; * sc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Opposite Edging: (Using Green & Red)

Rnd 1) Join green to any sc on rnd 6 (opposite end) with a sl st; ch 1, sc in joining, ch 1, sk next st; * sc in next st, ch 1, sk next st; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Rnd 2) Join red to any ch 1 sp on last rnd with a sl st; ch 1, sc in same sp, ch 1; * sc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with a sl st in first sc: 12 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Finishing:

Tie ribbon into a bow and glue to front center of napkin ring.
