Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (4 ply) (Red, White, Blue)
Crochet hook, size F

Finished Size: 4 1/2" in dia.
Gauge: 2 rows boullion = 1/ 1/2"

Rnd 1) With White ch 5; 15 boullion sts in 5th ch from hook: join with a sl st to top of first boullion: 15 boullion. Fasten off White, join Red. Boullion St: Wind thread around the hook smoothly 5 times; insert hook in work, wrap thread over hook and draw a loop through, wrap over hook again and draw carefully through the coil of all the loops on the hook

Rnd 2) With Red, ch 4; (2 boullion st, ch 2, 2 boullion st) in joining, sk next st; * (2 boullion st, ch 2, 2 boullion st) in next st, sk next st; rep from * around; join with a sl st to top of first boullion: 24 boullion. Fasten off Red.

Rnd 3) Join Blue to any ch 2 sp; (Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st; * (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch 2 sp, sk next 2 sts, sc in next st; rep from * around; join with a sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch 3. Fasten off; secure ends.
