Materials:
Small amount worsted weight yarn, main color (MC)
Small amount worsted weight yarn, contrasting color (CC)
Crochet hook, size E

Finishing Materials:
1 small polyester rose with leaves
1/8" ribbon, approx. 1/3 yard length
Glue
Magnets
Tapestry Needle
Potpourri (optional)

Finished Size: Approx. 5 1/2" in diameter
Gauge: Not important to overall size

Bottom Crown: (Using MC) (optional)
Rnd 1) Ch 2; 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook; join with a slip st in first sc: 6 sc.

Rnd 2) Ch 1, 2 sc in same st; * 2 sc in next sc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in in first sc: 12 sc. Fasten off, secure ends.

Crown: (Using MC)
Rnd 1) Ch 2; 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with a slip st in first sc: 8 sc.

Rnd 2) Ch 1, sc in same st, 2 sc in next sc; * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc: 12 sc

Rnds 3-4) Ch 1, sc in same st; * sc in next sc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc: 12 sc. Note: If making sachet, on round 4, join the bottom part of crown by placing crown and bottom crown together, right sides out. Sc in next 9 sc, through both sides at the same time. Fill crown cavity with potpourri, then finish closing with a sc in last 3 sc, (through both sides); slip st in first sc.

Brim:
Rnd 5) (Working in back loops); Ch 1, sc in same st, ch 2; * sc in next sc, ch 2; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc, slip st in next space.

Rnd 6) (Working in both loops); Ch 1, sc in same space, ch 2, hdc in same space, skip next sc, sc in next space; * ch 2, hdc in same space, skip next sc, sc in next space; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc, sl st in ch 2 space, (change colors).

Brim Edging: (Using CC)
Ch 1, 4 sc over same ch 2 space; * 4 sc over next ch 2 space, repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc. Fasten off, secure ends.

Finishing:
Weave ribbon through round 5, tighten and tie in a bow. Glue rose in center of bow. Attach magnets to back.
