Small amount worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook, size F

1 small polyester rose with leaves
1/8" ribbon, approx. 1/3 yard length
Glue
Magnets

Basket:
Rnd 1) Ch 13; dc in 5th ch from hook (first 4 chs skipped count as first dc), dc in in each ch across (10 dc total); turn work, (working in opposite side of foundation ch back across work), dc in back free lps of each ch; join with a sl st to back lp of of first dc: 20 dc.
Rnd 2) (Working in back lps); ch 3, dc in next dc, (working in front lps), dc in next 2 dc; * (working in back lps), dc in next 2 dc, (working in front lps), dc in next 2 dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to front lp of first dc: 20 dc.
Rnd 3) (Working in front lps); ch 3, dc in next dc, (working in back lps), dc in next 2 dc; * (working in front lps), dc in next 2 dc, (working in back lps), dc in next 2 dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to back lp of first dc: 20 dc.
Rnd 4) Rep rnd 2; join with a sl st to first dc. (Do not fasten off).
Ruffle:
Row 1) Ch 1, sc in joining; * (ch 3, 2 dc) in same st, sk next dc, sc in next dc; rep from * 4 times (5 shells). Ruffle is worked on front half of basket only so it will fit snug against the fridge. (Do not end off).
Handle:
Row 1) Ch 3, dc in joining (as sc on last shell of ruffle).
Rows 2-8) Ch 3, turn work; dc in top of ch 3 turning ch: 2 sts.
Row 9) Ch 3, turn work; sl st in opposite side of basket next to first shell made, dc in turning ch on handle, to complete last row of the handle, sl st in same st on basket. Fasten off, secure ends.
Finishing:
Weave ribbon through rnd 4 of basket, starting from center front, weaving through every 2 dc around the basket. Tighten and tie in a bow. Glue rose to center of bow. Attach magnets to back. Pop in small note pad (Post it) and small pencil!
