Crochet hook size F
1 (3" dia) plastic ring

Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)

Finished Size: 5 1/2" in dia.
Gauge: Not important to over all size

Skill Level: Beginner - Medium

Flower Center: (Using yellow)

Rnd 1) Join yarn to plastic ring with a sl st; ch 1; 32 sc around ring; join with a sl st to first sc: 32 sc. Fasten off; secure ends.

Petals: (Using white)

Rnd 1) Join yarn to next st from joining with a sl st; ch 8; hdc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in last 5 ch, sk next sc on ring, sl st in next sc, ch 6, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in last 3 ch, sk next sc on ring, sl st in next sc; * ch 8, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in last 5 ch, sk next sc on ring, sl st in next sc, ch 6, hdc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in last 3 ch, sk next sc on ring, sl st in next sc; rep from * around: 8 lg petals/8 sm petals. Fasten off; secure ends.

Finishing:

Using the center of flower as a template, draw around the image in the picture you'd like to cut out. Clip out and glue picture to back of flower frame. Attach magnets.

Variation:

Change colors to brown and yellow for a sunflower if desired.
