Color changes: For making color changes in this pattern I suggest working the next popcorn you plan to make the color change for, almost through the first dc in the popcorn (up to the last 2 lps on hook), drop old color behind and pick up new color, continue with the popcorn.
Ends: Work over the ends as you change colors and stuff inside the corn as you work.
Note: This pattern is freeform style. I will not tell you in the instructions when and where to make color changes, or how often or which colors to use. Use your own descretion and have fun!

Finishing:
With a 12" length of yarn, use your hook to pull length through opposite sides of last round for securing the rafia and bow to top of corn. Cut 2 pieces of rafia approx 8" in length. Open the rafia by twisting the paper, then slightly twist centers and fold in half. Cut the fabric with pinking shears approx. 1 1/2" wide by 12" long. Tie in a bow and trim ends. Position the bow and rafia on top of corn and use the yarn to tie together and secure. Weave in ends or tie in a knot and clip short on back of corn.
Tip: Make 3 ornamental corns and secure together with rafia and a large bow for a door decoration!
