Materials:
Small amount of worsted weight yarn, (dark color such as green or blue)
Small amount of worsted weight yarn, (white)

Molding Materials:
Spray starch
Plastic wrap
Rust proof pins
Ironing board, cardboard or styrofoam base

Finishing Materials:
Tapestry needle
Magnets

Finished Size: 8" X 5"
Gauge: Not important to overall size

Skill Level: Medium

Lens: (Make two) (Using dark color)

Rnd 1) Ch 5; 17 trc in 5th ch from hook (first 4 chs skipped count as first trc); join with a sl st in 5th ch of beg ch 5: 18 trc. Fasten off, secure ends on. (Do not end off on second piece).

Frames: (Using white)

Start new color in joining and end off old color; ch 1, sc in joining, (2 sc) in next sc, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) 5 times, sc in next sc; * ch 25, sk 1st ch, (sc dec over next 2 ch) 4 times, sc in next 14 ch; * (2 sc) in next sc of lens, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) twice; join with a sl st in first sc, ch 3, (nose bridge), sc in any trc of first lens, (2 sc) in next sc, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) twice; rep from * to * once, (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around the rest of lens; join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off, secure ends.

Finishing:

Cover preferred work surface with plastic wrap. Lightly spray sunglasses with spray starch and pin to desired shape, let dry. Once dried, remove pins and attach magnets to back under each lens and the tip of each ear piece.
