Lori'sbinderbag.jpg - 34.91 KA variation to the original pattern is shown here, designed by Lori D.
Instead of creating the edging, used in the original design, Lori added a flap and used buttons. Completing the piece, she opted to add fridgies. Click here for our Star Forever Fridgies and here for our USA Fridgies patterns!

Attach thread to any sc on last round; Ch 1, (sc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same st, skip next 2 sc; * sc in next sc, (ch 2, 2 dc) in same st, skip next 2 sc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in first sc. Fasten off, secure ends.

Finishing:
Using desired color of yarn, embroider or cross stitch a name, initials or design on front of binder pencil pouch. I (hastily) embroidered my initials or the initials for Crochet Memories...*lol* but with careful planning an elaborate design can be made. Your imagination is the limit!

Sew aligned velcro strips to inside top of pencil pouch on both sides, following suggestions for how to sew with velcro on back of pkg. I sewed one straight seam down the center of each velcro strip.

Tip: Set your sewing machine to zero before sewing will secure stitches, reset the machine to a normal machine stitch for sewing. Once you've sewn the velcro in place, reset your machine once again to zero at the opposite end of your seam line to secure.

Model is crocheted using the back loops for a more flat condensed look (this is normally the wrong side).
