Throughout the years of being in business online, I’ve come across some pretty wild tales. I was so unexpecting when I first started Crochet Memories - I mean after all, it’s just crochet!
Right, it is “just” crochet, but in a very big way! I’ve had people approach me in many ways to get free patterns, even though there are quite literally hundreds of free patterns I’ve posted throughout the years. One lady emailed many years ago reminding me that we spoke briefly on MSN messenger. She went on to tell me how much she loved my patterns, but one in particular caught her attention. She just HAD to have this pattern. After all the slathering of compliments she then asked if I would find it in my heart to give her that pattern because she was my “best” friend.
Well … she didn’t get the pattern and consequently, I lost my new best friend in the process. And we had such a “long” friendship too! But I have to wonder; whose loss was it?
