I love sharing customer photos! The embellishments, colors, and ideas they come up with provide a new, fresh look at what I’ve presented. I hope you enjoy these as much as I have!

Harvest Scarecrow Basket Topper Jewel writes: “Just wanted to share my harvest scarecrow with you. Another fun pattern to make. Thanks so much I am really enjoying your patterns.”

Nancy writes: “Thank you so much for this pattern. I’ve made two of them for gifts now. One for my supervisor at work and another for a good friend. They both loved them and they were so quick and easy to make.”

Harvest roll…

Not that in Southern California we have a true change of colors but I still love the autumn. I guess it’s because here the slight weather change from warm to cool is a clear sign the holidays are just around the corner. Usually by late October the leaves are starting to turn and by late November the yard is covered with them.

Allie loves to play in the leaves and seems quite happy with the snapping and crunching sounds under her weight as she moves about. One of the differences between these dogs is that Allie loves to eat rose petals - my poor roses! I keep thinking of Vicki, my best friend and pattern tester and her roses. Now Vicki doesn’t just have a few roses here and there - she has a crop! And as far as I can tell, is the rose queen - you have a quetion, she can answer it. :-) Back to the dogs - Chance likes to eat - are you ready for this… flies! Yuck, EEEK, Ooooooh! We try our best not to give him the chance….

At this time of year, it’s fun to start decorating your home for fall. I like to start out with fall decor such as leaves, pumpkins and so forth and then by the middle of October put out the Halloween decorations in and about the fall decorations. After Halloween, I take those down and put up Thanksgiving decorations.

Here are some patterns you might be interested in for fall:
