This week focuses on my pick for the Top Five Friday Finds in crochet mermaids! Mermaids have always been captivating and mysterious so it’s only natural artists want to depict these creatures in various forms, including crochet! From blanket cozies to wearable hats, these mermaids make a statement!
This week focuses on my pick for the Top Five Friday Finds for Spring Themed Grannys. I love the afghan reincarnation idea for creating unique one-of-a-kind pillows from Red Heart to the uniquely styled hot air balloon – come see for yourself!
The wonderful “encyclopedia” of Indispensable Stitch Collection for Crocheters remains a favorite of mine! So many wonderful stitch combinations to choose from and one can’t help themselves but to design something using one of their favorite stitches. This time, it’s a lapghan for my MIL’S Christmas using a fun stitch combination.
My original plan was to scrap this pattern as I wasn’t completely happy with the face. But after receiving feedback I decided to post the pattern and hope for the best!
When I asked my friend and pattern tester, Vicki Mashburn, what I should make for my Monday’s Minutes-to-Make free pattern, she came up with an elephant bib! At first I was thinking the entire elephant but then quickly saw the face – full on… and then the ideas continued to morph. We both hope you enjoy stitching this cute bib for a new baby!
I was recently sent Red Heart Baby Hugs yarn to review. I felt like a kid at Christmas! Inside was a lovely tin with 2 skeins of Red Heart Baby Hugs yarn in medium and light weight. I chose the light weight for the baby blanket which was in a color called Happy. I could relate! 😉
