The wonderful “encyclopedia” of Indispensable Stitch Collection for Crocheters remains a favorite of mine! So many wonderful stitch combinations to choose from and one can’t help themselves but to design something using one of their favorite stitches. This time, it’s a lapghan for my MIL’S Christmas using a fun stitch combination.
My original plan was to scrap this pattern as I wasn’t completely happy with the face. But after receiving feedback I decided to post the pattern and hope for the best!
When I asked my friend and pattern tester, Vicki Mashburn, what I should make for my Monday’s Minutes-to-Make free pattern, she came up with an elephant bib! At first I was thinking the entire elephant but then quickly saw the face – full on… and then the ideas continued to morph. We both hope you enjoy stitching this cute bib for a new baby!
I was recently sent Red Heart Baby Hugs yarn to review. I felt like a kid at Christmas! Inside was a lovely tin with 2 skeins of Red Heart Baby Hugs yarn in medium and light weight. I chose the light weight for the baby blanket which was in a color called Happy. I could relate! 😉
