Nah, I’m not talking about the cartoon movie. I’m actually floored over some of the things said after Trump honored a Navy Seal’s widow at his joint address to Congress.
The attack by those who want to publicly disrespect and discard the ultimate sacrifice by a service member and his widow by turning this into a political hate fest, that leaves a bad taste. Sacrificial service should be held tight within our grasp and not ridiculed.

As a military wife of 25 years, daughter of a man who fought in WWII, a niece to one who served in Battle of the Bulge, and sister-in-law to one who served in Viet Nam, I can tell you there is great sacrifice given on behalf of service members and their families.
To minimize and discredit the service given, or belittle the widow of the one who sacrificed his life for our freedoms, make those who say such vile things despicable. There’s a point where one crosses the line.
