I was wondering…what can I design for Mother’s Day that’s small and worked in thread? Coasters came to mind. I love texture and I love defying the traditional “always work in the previous rnd idea” that keeps the boundaries – tight. By stitching in the previous rnd and then working in a round or two below that – it adds dimension to a piece. And did I mention, it’s fun!
