Sm amt 4-ply WW yarn (dark color such as green or blue & white)
Crochet hook size G (4.25 mm)
Spray starch (optional)
Finished Size: 5 1/2″ W x 6 1/2″ T
Gauge: Not important to overall size
Skill Level: Easy – intermediate
Sc Dec: (insert hook in indicated st) as many times as stated, yo, draw through all lps on hook to complete the st.

Lens: (Make 2) (Using dark color)
Rnd 1) Form a lp with yarn; ch 5, (17 trc) in lp, draw tail up tight; join with a sl st to first trc (5th ch of beg ch 5), drop color on last st on second lens and pick up white: 18 trc. For more information on creating a starting lp, click here.
Frames: (Using white)
Rnd 1) Start new color in joining and end off old color; ch 1, sc in joining, (2 sc) in next trc, (sc in next trc, 2 sc in next trc) 5 times, sc in next trc; * ch 25, sk 1st ch, (sc dec over next 2 ch) 4 times see special sts, sc in next 14 ch, leaving last 2 ch unworked, * (2 sc) in next trc of lens, (sc in next trc, 2 sc in next trc) twice; join with a sl st in first sc, ch 3 (nose bridge), sc in any trc of first lens, (2 sc) in next trc, (sc in next trc, 2 sc in next trc) twice; rep from * to * once, (sc in next trc, 2 sc in next trc) around the rest of lens; join with a sl st in first sc: 54 sc/1 ch 3-sp. Fasten off, secure ends.
Cover preferred work surface with plastic wrap. Lightly spray sunglasses with spray starch and pin to desired shape, let dry. Once dried, remove pins and attach magnets to back under each lens and the tip of each ear piece.
