First let me say my heart goes out to all those in the path of this tropical storm. I can’t even begin to understand the devastation and rain that’s pounded the gulf states, specifically, Texas.
As recorded by Vox.com; “In Southeast Houston, a weather station has registered more than 51 inches of rain from Tropical Storm Harvey. The measurement is preliminary, but if confirmed, it will mean Harvey has broken the record for the greatest amount of rain recorded from a single tropical storm or hurricane in the continental United States. It’s more than 4 feet of rain.”
Harvey has unloaded 9 trillion gallons of water.
As I said, I can’t even begin to imagine. And living in So CA, I’m used to drought, not floods. I’ve been watching Fox news for up-to-date information on Harvey since we have family and I have many friends who live there.
Please be safe! My prayers and thoughts are with all those affected.
