Dear Friends,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day! Can you believe that St. Patrick's is closing in and Easter isn't far away? Check out Loretta's pattern this month; a lovely and beautiful covered hanger with matching sachet! This set will make a wonderful gift for mom, or for anyone special. My free pattern is an Easter door knob cover that's sure to please the young'uns. We also have recipes and crafts for Easter and don't forget to check out the pictures sent in by customers for inspirational ideas.
Our newest patterns are located on the left menu bar with featured patterns below for St. Patrick's and Easter!
We hope you enjoy the new layout for the website and newsletter! We still have more work to go as you'll note if you click onto an old page that hasn't yet been reformatted. :-)
New Patterns
Our newest patterns are featured to the left! They include:
- Gangly Duckling Door Hanger
- Ms Daffodil Crinoline Girl Doily
- Easter Bunny Towel Topper
After talking to my pattern tester, Vicki Mashburn, we discussed creating new holiday door hangers for each holiday. I think our Gangly Duckling Door Hanger turned out quite cute - shown relaxing! We have some surprises cooked up for you in 2008! After a quick inventory, it looks like there'll be 3 new birthday crinoline girls to design and between those birthday girls there are plans for even more crinolines . . . Our Easter Bunny Towel Topper, to the left, was featured in the C&M Crochet Pattern Club before we disbanded in 2006 and I think you'll enjoy this project. Our main feature though has to be Ms Daffodil, our new March birthday crinoline girl doily - a must have for crinoline collectors! We hope you enjoy these new patterns.

"I thought I would send you a pic of my finished Irish Girl. She turned out great. I am going to start last years spring crinoline girl next.
I did my Irish Girl in light green/med green with the white bows. Hope you like the pic."
Susan T. writes:
"Hi Cylinda I cannot praise the patterns for Mom's Pineapple Hat, fan, and basket enough. They turned out great; I used DMC Cebelia crochet thread and did a sugar starch stiffening. My friend, Maureen, and I spent an entire Saturday afternoon looking for just the right flowers and lace ribbon. Thank you so much! I am now working on the teacup and saucer; I made these for my daughter, Stephanie, and they'll be heirlooms."
