Filet Shell Easter Basket
This beautiful crochet ruffled Easter basket is worked with a filet concept boasting plenty of shell stitches. The chain ruffle is full and frilly - perfect for Easter and for decorating your home. Fill with colored eggs or wrapped candy! This project is sculpted using either a commercial stiffener or a home made solution. For shaping 1 (13 oz.) coffee can (or similar sized can), a lg coffee can or rounded object for shaping the handles, plastic paper clips and plastic canvas mesh (12 ½” L x 6 ½” W). The last two items are optional but used to create a unique way of shaping the ruffle with ease. To complete this project you'll need a small amt of ribbon (optional).
