Pineapple Rays Decorative Hat
Our beautiful and elegant decorative crochet hat boasts plenty of lucsious and beautiful pineapples set amidst lacy pyramids and a delicate chain stitched crown. Adorned with silk flowers and a satin bow, it's a beautiful piece to toss on a bed or chair, or displayed on a wall. This project is sculpted using either a commercial stiffener or a home made solution. For shaping you'll need a Styrofoam ball, 5" in dia; cut in half for the crown and a flat Styrofoam board for the brim, or CYBAR, the ultimate shaping and blocking board. To complete, you'll need 1/3-yd (5/8" W) ribbon, 1 lg silk flower, 2 silk flora sprays, or your own preference of embellishments.
