A comment from the designer:
Christina writes how she came to design this beautiful piece: "Lynda was always helping and encouraging others even though she has issues with MS. She manages to ignore the pain of Multiple Sclerosis as she helps others. During her stay (with Christina and her family), I would sometimes see her sitting alone and each time she was in prayer. Even when she had free time, she was praying for someone else. That's when I decided to create a filet doily of her praying hands."
We hope you enjoy this piece as well and while working up a beautiful set of praying hands, a percentage of the sale is helping others in need!

Annette S. writes: "Thanks so much, Cylinda! I lost my ability to be logical when I turned sixty as I decided to make this treasure up in size 30 thread! Began it, and it really is going to be beautiful! My friend will treasure it as it will be a Christmas gift. My hands are old now, but I have to admit, the praying hands are turning out quite well. This will be a gift for a dear friend who, when she retires from Shell in two years, will have her certification as a counselor and will volunteer at the Woman's Center. NOW, I had no idea until I found this pattern WHY this was designed and for WHO and WHERE the funds will go... So I would rather believe it was NOT a coincidence! I will ask her to hang it in her office one day. AND I was actually looking at your basket patterns and this POPPED out as I was peeking at your other wonderful patterns."
