Spider Web Trick-or-Treat Bowl

Don't be afraid to put your hands into this unique webbed crochet bowl. Four intricate spider webs edge this spooky bowl accented in black for drama, complete with matching saucer! Fill with your favorite wrapped candy. This project is worked mostly in sc and will need sculpting using either a commercial stiffener or a home made solution. For shaping you'll need an 8" Styrofoam ball.

Medium: #10 cotton thread

Hook size: Steel hook size 8

Mary Lou writes: "I also made the Trick or Treat Bowl about 3 years ago. I made four of them and gave them as gifts. I used a small Pyrex Bowl with clear wrap over it to shape the bowl and a size 6 hook rather than the size 8 that the pattern called for and it worked out to be about the size the pattern said it would be."

Dot writes: "I made the spider bowl in black and filled it with orange pumpkin spice potpourri."
