Our cute baby blanket is crocheted with a filet center boasting a sweet teddy bear that's edged with a checkerboard design and then bordered with an easy to work pattern repeat. Accent with ribbon tied at all 4 corners or plain, as shown. It's the perfect baby gift!

Sherrie writes: "Here is a picture of my new granddaughter in her Teddy Bear blanket. She had her hospital pictures taken with it and then was wrapped in it for the trip home. When one of the nurses commented on how pretty it was my dauthter-in-law speared it out for her to see the center panel. A few minutes latter they had the room filled with nurse coming to see Sydney's blanket! It is amazing how easy. I have made a couple of the Lullaby Rocking Horse blankets and everyone just loves them . They have always been a huge hit."

Sherrie gave me the idea for creating this baby blanket and used a previous pattern for the teddy bear and the Lullaby Rocking Horse Baby Blanket to create this blanket. In designing the pattern I added the checkerboard edging around the filet portion.
